What the different between sinusitis and tinnitus? Sinusitis is inflammation of a sinus, (it's part of your nose) and tinnitus is a ringing, roaring, hissing, or other sensation of noise in the ears that is purely subjective. Tinnitus is ringing in the ears. I'm not sure what sinusitis is, but I'm guessing that it is probably irritation or infection of the sinus passages. Sinusitis is infected/inflamed sinuses. Tinnitus is ringing in the ears! Sinusitis is a sinus infection. Tinnitus is ringing in the ears. They aren't related. |
