anyone know of any home remedies for these? If youre tired of being on medication, you just have to deal with it. People with cancer get tired of chemo. If you think you have it bad, there is always someone who has it worse. In addition to rhuematoid, I also have Lupus. The only over the counter treatment for arthritis is NSAIDS. The ant-inflammatory affects help with the inflammation and swelling. Mine has progressed to the point where over the counter treatment doesnt work, I have to go to a doctor regularly. But I eat right, exercise 4-5 times a week and take care of myself. Alot of caring for yourself is psychological. You can make anything worse by telling yourself it is bad. I refuse to let these diseases control my life. There are people in the world dying from simple, treatable diseases. I am thankful I have access to the medications that I have. Even though I have to take them daily.
