I have sinusitis and my lower lip is twitching. WTF?


Why is my lip twitching. I have sinusitis but when I lay down, my bottom lip starts like twitching together. I thought it was like a heart beat, but I got up and looked in the mirror and sure enough it was moving on it's own.

There might be pressure on Fascial Nerve in the middle ear , provided you have involvment of the ear with the sinusitis. It is not uncommon to have involvment of ears with a sinus infection . The ears feel stuffy and soar.

Advice ; Treat the sinus infection and the twitching in your lip should resolve. Otherwise see an ENT specialist.

You might need some anitbiotics , antihistamines with decongestants and nasal spray .
