Does chronic sinusitis cause dizziness?
Not generally, no. However if the infection should get to your ears, which wouldn't be uncommon, it can affect the vestibular system, thus making you dizzy. Generally speaking, if you are having dizziness, you should see your doctor to get some antibiotics (if not taking them already) as an inner ear infection can do bad things if left unchecked. One should also consider the possibility that something else could be causing the dizziness at the brainstem...which would be really bad! Either case, see your Dr. |
