You will want to take a decongestant (brand name not provided), but also you should buy a small bottle of "Ocean". It's basically salt water that you squeeze into your upper nose to keep it moist - it works good.

Check w/your pharmacist for a specific decongestant.
you need a saliene nasil spray which you can get from a chemast and they are not too expensive, i have that problem too.
Hi! Cute Avatar (love the hat)!Since this is listed for alternative med, that's the advice I'll give you. Take a facial steam (inhalation) with aromatherapy oils.Lavender, Tea Tree, Eucalyptus and Peppermint are all good. You can use 1 or several in a blend. As you're filling the sink basin with HOT, HOT water, add the oils. The maximum drops:5 for Lavender, 3 for Tea Tree, Eucalyptus and Peppermint. Also, you can massage your sinus cavities with 2 drops of Lavender oil (only Lavender for this -okay?) with a dribble of olive oil or lotion and drink plenty of fluids, such as hot tea (good way to incorporate Peppermint!).Hope you feel better!

a cupful of juniper berry tea, once every couple of hours, can chase away the flu in a hurry. and vaporized juniper berry oil (l5 drops with 3/4 cup of water in a vaporizer near your bed inhaled for an hour) will bring hours of relief from sinusitis.
