Do garlic really can cure sinusitis?? (some kind of cold)?

i want 2 noe whether garlic can really cure sinusitis/resdung/cold??

I have literally swallowed garlic cloves (cut in half) when I felt like I was coming down with something in the past. It has fended off whatever was taking hold of me so far. My *gas* stinks and the smell seeps out my pores but I think that is part of it! Haven't tried the odorless, packaged kind. I have a feeling the acidity and the stink is part of what kills the nasties trying to bring you down. Try swallowing two cloves cut in half or quarters as you would swallow pills. I haven't had flu shots but have not been sick for two years since trying it.

Garlic contains sulphur, which can help in some cases. For the actual sinusitis, make sure you drink enough water. The mucus becomes less solid, runs better, and stops putting pressure on your sinuses, which is why they swell and hurt.
I had sinus for years, and loathed every second of it.
i found that vitamin c can stop sinusitus/colds in its tracks. at the first sign, i take 2,000 to 4,000 mgs, then 1,000 mg every 4 hours, drinks lots of fluids, get lots of sleep. garlic will help too, but i swear by the vit c..i get the chewable kind, tastes like candy.

Garlic does have some antibiotic properties. I once had an ear infection, the eardrum was noticably irritated and there was some fluid build up behind the eardrum on visual inspection with an otoscope (the thing the doctor sticks in your ear to see your eardrum) and for some reason, I was cooking and stuck the cut up garlic in my ear. I knew there were some antibiotic properties and thought, what the heck. The next day all of the irritation and fluid was gone out of my ear and I felt better. This was checked with the otoscope again. The antibiotic property is called allicin.
