What is the best cure for sinusitis?

What is the best cure for sinusitis?

I got this from the nhs website in UK- check out the link for more info- its good quality info that you can trust.

Treatment
Sometimes no treatment is needed and, like with colds, the immune system will clear the virus and any associated symptoms within a week. However, if you have severe symptoms, or the infection has not cleared within a week, your GP may prescribe you antibiotics.

In either case there are ways to help relieve your suffering in the meantime.

Painkillers such as paracetamol or ibuprofen can relieve a headache, high temperature and any pain or tenderness around the infected area.
You can buy decongestant nasal sprays or drops from pharmacies, and although they may not shorten the duration of sinusitis, they may briefly relieve a blocked nose, helping you to breathe more easily. Be aware that you should not use a decongestant spray or drops for more than a period of five to seven days at a time.
Steam inhalation may help relieve discomfort and nasal blockages, although there is little evidence to prove how effective this method is at fighting sinusitis.
Untreated or particularly severe cases may require surgery to drain the sinuses.
