My nose is blocked and I have a heavy feeling at the back of my head and shoulders..have I got sinusitis? Sounds like it could be; those are usually my symptoms when I have a sinus infection. Tea with honey and lemon can help. And Vicks Vaporub can help in clearing out a stuffy nose. drink some green tea- its better if u have lemon zinger It is quite possible but the only way to know for sure is to see the doc and get this checked out. I'm not a doc so I say, go to one. But, it could be just really bad allergies. I get allergies all the time and get the same symptoms. But, seriously see a doc. If your nose is blocked, you have swelling under your eyes, drainage in the back of your throat and maybe a headache, then you have sinusitis. I have never heart of a heavy feeling at the back of head and shoulders being sinusitis. It must be something else. Maybe you should see your doctor. I have found that tension and spasms in my neck and the back of my head cause congestion. Try a heating pad on your neck or a hot shower & let the water massage your neck for a few minutes. That can clear my sinus/throat congestion as my neck relaxes. sinusitis tends to run pressure accross the nose and face - under the eyes. along the sinus path. you may have two different things going on. sinus problems with headache or muscle tension. |
