My wife is bothered with sinusitis?

Anybody out there with any ideas for help. She has been to several doctors, but the problem persists.

there is little anyone can do to cure this problem, more and more people who never ever had sinus issues before in their lives (like me) now have this problem-
The only thing that helps ease the symptoms for me is Advil cold and sinus, and oolong tea which soothes your insides, and head. It is not fun- I just started having this problem 3 yrs ago, I am now 40, for 2 weeks I had a headache and felt tired, no energy- this week I feel like my nasals are freaking out just below my forehead- no runny nose, just annoying feeling and some nasal drip from time to time.
Try the advil cold and sinus and see if that helps any- nothing else but that works for me so maybe she too will find some relief with that.
She should try squirting a product called alcholol into her sinuses with a syringe daily and see if it helps.
Has she been to an allergist? Perhaps it persists because she hasn't eliminated what's bothering her, or at least taken the appropriate medicine for it. Otherwise it must be an infection. In the meantime, make sure she stays hydrated with plenty to drink, and leave a humidifier on if you have one. Also some good rest in a dark quiet room may help as well.
I suffered from Sinusitus for many years before finally giving into surgery. Best bet? Nasal irrigation! Its not the most pleasant option but it DOES work. I bought a brand new, clean enema bottle ( you can use a nettie pot or any other contraption that works for you ) and filled it with a warm water and salt mix. BE CAREFUL. Flush each nostril several times a day until the mucuous drains out. Some drug stores carry the irrigation solution already premade and with its own bottle. I liked the enema bottle better beacuse it had a longer nozzle for more control.

For instant but short term relief, steam inhalation works wonders also. Heat a small amount of water (I added a drop of eucalyptus oil) in a very large pot and bring to a simmer. Inhale. I tried a commercial facial steamer for this purpose and it wasn't quite as easy (or as effective.)

Hope it helps!!
Try Xylitol nasal spray in addition to irrigating her nasal passages. It is a non-drug product that should help. Sinusitis is one of the most difficult infections to get rid of and once you get it, if you have allergies, you will be prone to getting it most of the time. Try preventive measures.
