Is it true you can develope skin cancer from deoderants? |
I have a light Nivea cream spray on deoderant. It's mostly cream rather than deoderant but I fall asleep with it on sometimes and i read somewhere or someone told me you can get skin cancer from deoderants?? Is that true? No. That is pure myth. There is not a shred of proof that deodorants can cause cancer. Don't believe everything you hear. no it is not You can get cancer from anything and everything! no only if you're a rat and can eat the stuff 24/7 and at a rate 1 million times the dose in your deoderant... I'm not sure but I heard certain ingredients cause cancer gradually.. Whenever I use a deo, I use it on clothes[ not directly on skin].. To stay outta risk :) omgosh my friend was just talking to me about this.... apparently the answer is yes. it seals in all the toxins.... just be natural Fact The supposed risk from underarm deoderants was not from skin cancer, but breast cancer. No. That is pure myth. ...Probably more to do with the fact we are told to cover up, slap on the chemicals, stay out of the sun when in fact good old Vitamin D (which we get from the sun) is what most of us are lacking in. ... You gwt it from your skin being over exposed to ultra violet radiation from the sun. As for spray tans you... But it's not nice to SUE MOTHER NATURE Silly.... ...Skin cancer takes on many appearances. I have had it three times in different areas. Mine are not the life threatening melanoma, but all can be serious if not treated. A sore even if tiny that do... relax. It is NOT skin cancer. its old dead skin cells. they usually come off right when someone gets out of the shower or when your wiping yourself off with a towel. get a good shower scrubbie and ...
