Does sunless tanning lotion still give u a tan but prevents skin cancer?

Or which is better to get a tan but prevent skin cancer?
sunscreen, sunblock or sunless tanning lotion?!!!!!!!!!!!

the suns rays can cause cancer, yes. to create a tan effect you use SUNLESS TANNING/ SELF TANNER product. sunscreen and sunblock are only products used to prevent the suns rays from 'tanning or burning' your skin, they do not colour the skin in any way.

there are certain self-tanners that contain a sunblock so that you can go out into the sun while "self-tanning" is in the works.

sunless tanning lotion or sprays work well, if you know what youre doing. i stopped tanning in tanning beds in august, becuase its just bad for you and i dont want to be a wrinkly mess when i get older....

i suggest neutrogena tanning SPRAY...its easy and gives you a natural looking tan. i swear by it! i love to be tan, so i use it often, try looking at walmart, walgreens, target...

lotions are perfectly safe. its only the uv rays form tanning beds and the sun that can cause cancer. =]

i think its the same. it does give u skin cancer

stick with the lotion. staying out in the sun only ages your skin quickly and does cause skin cancer. if you do go out in teh sun. use a sunblock with an SPF 30 or higher.

Okay first of all tanning lotions will not prevent cancer unless they have built in spf. Secondly self tanner is a better alternative then sun tanning or tanning beds. Good luck and remember to always wear sunscreen.

anything you use must have blockers for preventing skin cancer by blocking uv rays (see a spf # of say 30) you could use a blocker over a sunless tan...
