Can i get a tan with sunscreen and not get skin cancer?

I want a tan and Im thinking of using sunscreen with a SPF of 12 so i can get that tan, wat u think?!!!!

The only true way to avoid skin cancer (well, mostly avoid it) is to stay out of the sun. However, using a sunscreen will help a great deal, give you some color, and help keep you from burning.

Remember, skin cancer is cumulative.... all the tanning you do now and in the future (even if it's minimal) can give you skin cancer as an adult. My mom has a huge scar (5 inches across) on her chest from a surgeon needing to cut out the cancer.... and the cancer spot was small. But all the tissue around that spot was infected underneath. Just be careful.

just use that spray stuff
you'll regret going to tannig salons
and staying out in the sun for a long period of time
