We don't know why some people get skin cancer and others don't, even though they may get the same amount of UV radiation that causes skin cancer. well im not perfectly sure but it gose somthing like this: when the skin recieves the waves its obsorbed into the body a little the cells sorta heat up and are dammaged by the rays... sorta like a microwave but backwords... then fluids are needed to rehydrate the cells so blisters form and somehow theres the cancer cells in the healing prossess. and sunscreen has something in it that reflects the rays and covers your skin so they cant enter. your suppose to apply the screen like 1/2 an hour before going into the sun and keep reappling because it rubbs off, wears off and gets washed off. |
