Can having skin cancer make you feel tired and generally unwell?

My mother has just been diagnosed with it, but for the past year has been getting increasingly tired and has frequently spent weekends etc in bed. I just want to know if this is a symptoms of it, all I can find on the net are things relating to moles etc as the only sypmtoms, but I can't help thinking this must have been related to the cancer.

What kind of skin cancer? Melanoma might cause the symptoms you are describing. Basal or squamous cell skin cancer will not serious symptoms (other than possibly localized pain) unless the cancer has been ignored and allowed to spread.

One factor to remember is that many or most people will get depressed and feel generally unwell just hearing that they have a new cancer diagnosis, even if the cancer is relatively minor and not life threatening. A small skin cancer located on the face might cause terror in many people even if the cancer can be easily cured by removal. Never underestimate the power of the human mind to cause illness.

Of course!

Of course-her whole body is effected not just her skin
