A little scared. Is it skin cancer?

I have moles, that's nothing new. Usually they're perfectly round, or oval, fairly small, range from light brown to dark brown, and are flat. Nothing to worry about, right? I noticed a new one on my arm... it's the same size and color as the others, but it's shaped like a messed up triangle... that was yesterday. Today it's still the same shape/size, but there's a tiny darker spot in the middle. Should I be worried? I don't spend much time in the sun and I don't have a family history of skin cancer to the extent of my knowledge, and my dad has tons of freckles.

Oops, I meant to say moles. My dad has tons of moles. I can't ask him about it though, my parents are divorced and I haven't seen him in nearly six months.

the safest thing to do is have it checked. i had basil cell cancer on my face and didnt know it. i had gone to a free cancer of the skin screening and they diagnosed it. i was so glad i went. safe is better than sorry. good luck.

Well i have a mole on my thigh and it has a tiny white dot in the middle Ive had it since i can remember [ I'm 14] and nothing has ever happened to me. My mum says that i should put loads sun cream on it in the sun. And occasionally talks about getting it removeed. But if it bugs you see a docter.

why don't you call your doctor and ask him about it
