If it a myth that Black people can't get skin cancer how much has been reported in Africa?

Honest percentages, please.

I'm giving these to you, but I just want to ask; What the hell does it matter what color you skin is? The sun still damages the skin in any case. It's not like just because your skin is darker that the UV ray won't effect you! That "myth" was obviously proposed by an idiot.

Of course black people can get skin cancer. The melanin in their skin makes it less likely, but they still do get it.

Here are stats for the U.S.. It would be impossible to get accurate statistics for Africa, since so much of the area there is undeveloped and most people don't have access to adequate medical care, much less accurate diagnosis.

Not only is it a myth, BUT it is a fact that black, brown and white can and do get skin cancer. That really is amazing that you should ask that, where have you been?
