PLEASE help me! I MIGHT HAVE SKIN CANCER?

okay, my mole has gotten bigger since i was younger. i'm only thirteen so please help. i'm a little worried because my mom doesn't beleive i might have skin cancer! i tried scratching my mole off, and ever since my mole has gotten bigger. i haven't scratched it off in a while. but i'm scared because i don't want skin cancer and my mom wont check me into a doctor becasue she says it's nothing! and she won't beleive me. how do i get her to take me to the doctor?!

Are you still in school right now or you out for the summer? If you are still in school ask the school nurse.
Is your father/grandparent/aunt/uncle/older sibling there that can take you to your dr?
can you post a picture of the mole on here?
Do not pick at it!!!

This is reason for concern! Call the doctors office and explain to them what is happening, have them speak to your mom directly. Any mole that changes color, size, shape, or bleeds should be checked by a physician. Even if it isn't anything, at least you'll have peace of mind knowing that you're cancer free. Good Luck.

First off - never ever scratch at moles - ok?

Next, quit typing in all caps as that means you are shouting.

Go to your school nurse and ask her if you need to see a Dr about your mole.

If your mom says it is nothing she is probably right but if the school nurse tells her you need to see a Dr then I'm sure your mother will take you.

I would go to the school nurse and explain what is going on. They will probably persaude your mom to then take you to the doctor. good luck
