I think I have skin cancer, and I'm only 13! What is it? |
Well, since I was as young as I can remember, like two years old, I've had this extremely noticeable, dark brown, round mole/freckle on my stomach [over my ribcage]. It's hideous! and it's like a big, thick freckle. Mum says that if it was skin cancer, it would be itchy and irritating and the area would be extremely raised. But it's not, and only ONCE it's been itchy. Is it cancer? Am i panicking a bit too much? Or is it perfectly fine, just a freckle? aarggh worrying!! signs of skin cancer: ABCD: A-abnormal shape B-border C-color & D-diameter. Since you've had it since as young as you can remember it's probably just a birth mark. If you've had it since you were two, It's most likely nothing. If you and your parents are still worried I would go see a dermatologist. |
