Skin cancer please help me understand? |
Ok while im sure my son's father has it. But im confuessed on how it got it. i think it's a cancer that has cell something in the name cause he has these sores that dont heal and patches over parts of his face like his eye and cheek but he doesn't fix the decision of people the mostly have it he's real dark(African american) he not in the sun as much and he wears a hat i all the time. I known him for 5 yrs and he always had it since i known him. I also read it could come from AIDS which i check myself over and over again and it's not that while i don't have it but it still scares me. His mother died when he was young from lopis(hope i spelled it close to right) which i learned is a type of skin cancer just more "advance" will be the right word, but i heard it's a women disase. He has no insurance so i plan to take him to the county sat but he"s a lil scared and it took me 4 years to finally get to this point of at least him trying to go to the doctor to see what it is. just need a lil He also has a lot of joint pain his wrist was hurting real bad sat and he didnt do anything for it to be sore DeDe I've had skin cancer, but it is VERY rare for a black man to have it. Read up on psyorisis. That is a skin condition that doesn't heal. It's very common and has no other side effects. I'll bet that's what he has. The only way you'll know for sure is if he goes to see a doctor. if it makes you feel better - it takes a VERY long time to get sick from skin cancer. Many many years. Skin cancer can happen to anyone. While it's more likely in pale-skinned people who have been out in the sun, it can also happen to darker skinned people. It also depends what kind he has. A lot depends on how much sun exposure he had as a child. |
