Skin Cancer check?

Hi All..

I have an appointment with a dermatologist for a general skin cancer check. What do I expect? Do they check all areas?

You get naked and they attempt to look at all of your skin, even your scalp, palms and soles. It helps to cut your pubic hair first, and remove fingernail polish, except for clear.

haha, they won't check "every" part of your skin< if that's what you are afraid of. Most common areas to check are limbs, legs, neck, face and shoulders. It is the most common areas because of sun exposure. Unless there is a specific type of cancer one is looking for there is no need to check everywhere.
