What is Skin Cancer and how is it caused? Is it Curable? Skin cancer is cancer that forms in tissues of the skin. It is mostly caused by excess sun exposure. If detected in early stages it is curable by simply removing the tumor [melonoma being most common] however if it is caught in later stages it does pose a risk of spreading to other parts of the body which can lead to more serious problems. These more serious kinds of cancers can be treated by chemotherapy or radiation therapy, however this is a long and painful process. I believe it can be cured..... however you need to catch it early... |
