Can the white pimple looking bumps be a sign of skin cancer?

I'm in the sun alot........well not as much as before but ive been sunburned alot lately. Out of nowhere i get these bumps on my left shoulder that look like pimples but do people get pimples on their shoulders? Ive noticed them since last fri.......i picked at one today and tried to pop it and puss came out.....a few minutes later it just looks like the pimple thing again..........what is it? i have around six diff bumps..........and this weird dark spot but is really small about an inch from it......my friend told me to wait a few days and if it gets worse to go see a doctor.

Sure people can have acne on their chest/shoulders and back - but if you suddenly have this it could be a skin infection - cancer is generally a 'mole' or any new skin growth that appears & changes -, size, shape and or bleeds.

I'd give it a week at best - and call the MD be sure you protect your skin from the sun's harmful (cancer) rays and use an SPF -

okay, i've got the same thing. how old are you? a LOT of people i know have it, and yes, puss comes out, and it looks like pimples, but really it's just your skin developing (that's what the doctor told me). You can put lotion on it and stuff, but really, they're just going to stay there. they're not big, right? mine aren't big...they're really small. but, it looks like you have slight acne on your shoulders. it's just development. you'll be fine!!!
