Old cigarette burn scar is itchy--is skin cancer possible?

I have a few cigarette burn scars on my arms and legs (I really think alcohol is one of the most dangerous and detrimental-to-ones-health drugs) and they are kind of puffy (I am saying this because I saw people recommending to put tattoos over these scars, but mine are puffy are they supposed to be?)

Anyways, my question is about one on my leg. It is about the size of a pencil eraser, a year old, and slightly puffy. I started noticing it lately because it has been itching a lot. I have been in the sun a good amount this year, nothing crazy as I live at an apartment, but I found the itchyness weird and started worrying about some kind of infection or the dreaded skin cancer! (since I tan a lot and that is a popular argument)

Could this be an indication that something is wrong? I just found it weird that it was a year later and started itching. Thanks

scar tissue usually gets puffy and itchy. Start putting some coco butter on it, and also get some gel capsul vitam "e" and put this solution on it daily. It will help smooth it out and bring down the swelling therefore reducing the irritation.
