I wanna use a tanning bed but dont know how and how often?? And scared to get skin cancer help is needed...? if you go to a tanning salon they will give the recommended strength and time (usually 5-6 minutes at first). they will also show you how to use the bed. Firstly How old are you? I would not reccomend anyone under 18 using a tanning bed. I tanned for years off and on and I am only 24 but honestly I can see a drastic difference in my skin because of that decision. As much as I loved the tanned look the permanent spots and blemishes because of it. Please just be careful. I only use tanning lotion now and seriously nobody can tell a difference. It is a bummer to have to re-apply more often and not have the ease of spending 20 minutes a day laying there being warm and getting a tan but a spray tan is great and is a wonderful alternative in terms of keeping your skin healthy and avoiding wrinkles let alone skin cancer. You will get skin cancer with a large amount of tanning bed usage!!! But if you don't mind the risks the people at the tanning salon will assist you in time and usage of the tanning beds. Get a spray on tan first. Before you do all the tanning beds and what not. You might fine that to be better. |
