Is this skin cancer, Melanoma?

Lol I'm not concerned or anything but I'm bored and I had a speech on skin cancer today that got me thinking... I went to the Domincan last March and got severe burns on my shoulders that blistered and had to be scraped off the following 12 hours. I still have scares and many light freckles that weren't there before around the area (not alarming). But since then, I have noticed that I have 3 or 4 other moles on various parts of my body that have changed colour in parts, have gotten higher (i dont kno how to work that better haha) and bleed sometimes. Should I be concerned or is this normal? Would my sunburn even have anything to do with that or is that just coincendence? I am 17 yr old female.

Moles changing color or size can definitely indicate precancerous cells. The bleeding is even more serious. If they bleed unexpectedly or more than you would expect from a normal cut, then there is a very high chance of them being precancerous. Every time you get a sunburn that blisters you increase your chances of contracting skin cancer. Definitely go see your doctor about this and be sure to mention the bleeding.

moles changing size and color, and bleeding need to be checked by a dermatologist. If the Dr. has any suspicions about the mole, have it removed and biopsied. One sunburn likely has nothing to do with it but multiple sunburns and/or tanning booths in young people (under 21) are factors that contribute to Melanoma.

Have them checked out. also you can check your moles regularly, see link.

Moles changing colors and bleeding is nothing to LOL about. Go get them checked. Melanoma is a skin cancer that can metastasize.
