Itchy and somewhat painful patch of skin...cancer? |
for quite a while now i've had a patch of skin between my shoulder blades and it feels like i have a permanent sun burn , but i havent really been in the sun alot this summer, so i couldnt have burned. i dont have any moles present or anything. but was just wondering if this could be the early signs of skin cancer. i'm making an app with my family doctor this week.. but any in sight will be helpful Don't jump to the big 'c' conclusion just yet. It could be different things. Have you changed laundry detergent, or soaps? When did you first get it? Was there a change in weather? You're definitely wise in going to see your doctor--Another possibility...stress or anxiety can cause skin issues that don't 'make sense'. I've never heard of your symptoms meaning skin cancer and believe me I had a myriad of skin problems. But you are wise to see your doctor anyway. |
