Please Help!! Skin Cancer?!?!? |
Okay i was in the shower, I was washing my arm pit and i had a mole there for ever, But i don't know if i noticed this before, Its brown not black but i found brown spots near it but really small, And the moles small! Is this a normal mole or is it cancer?!! Im so freaked out! But like!! I want to know before i go to the doctor, Its brown and it has small brown dots around it, Two dots to be exact. Their exactly near the mole The number one way to tell is to draw a circle around it and wait a few weeks and see if it grows. But a quick visit to the dermatologist and she will tell you. I know that it is scary not knowing, but I really wouldn't worry. Just think - the sooner you go into the doctor, the sooner they will tell you the truth and fix you if they need to. The facts aren't going to change! I have a history of skin cancer in my family so I go to the dermatologist often, and have had a few suspecting marks checked, and it isn't very painful Calm down! Your doctor can tell you. All they do is examine it for certain characteristics, and if they think it is suspicious they will remove it. Since it is small they will numb your underarm, take a little tube and slice out a section of your skin, the part with the mole in it. It doesn't hurt at all and if it is small no stitches are required. It probably isn't cancer, since cancer-moles tend to be more black and irregularly shaped. However, I'm not an expert and if you really, truly feel something is wrong, I'd go to your dermatologist and get their opinion. |
