Does McCain still have skin cancer? |
Does McCain still have skin cancer? There are no reports of his having cancer now, but he has had melanoma (which is malignant) 4 times making the chance of having another high. There is some question as to whether or not he has already had a recurrence. What type of melanoma he has had is not known. Melanoma is one of the most unpredictable cancers there is and can metastasize at any time in some very odd places. His mother鈥檚 longevity is not a predictor for his. McCain was Stage II melanoma which means it did not go beyond his epidermis (skin layer). Yes there is an increase likelihood of it occurring again on his body but I am sure he is being cared for to avoid any further occurance from going undected. He has had melanoma 4 times and none were malignant. At his age and past history, McCain will probably have another bout, but should easily be taken care of with surgery. Senator McCain had his cancerous tumor removed in August of 2000 and has had no recurrence in the 8 years since then, so, although he was originally diagnosed with the deadliest form of melanoma, he is no longer suffering from the illness. No No... His mother is also 90+ years old (good genes).... so the chances of him dying in the ages between 72-76 is VERY slim. No, He is very healthy right now. He will probably live a long time because his mom is 96 and in good health. not right now, personally i think he has a very good chance of dying in the next 7 years. hes like 70 for crying out loud. not right now, but it could reoccur at any time. |
