How come no one talks about Biden's BRAIN aneurism, but they're all over McCain's SKIN cancer?

The press bias against the Republicans is so obvious, just from the fact that they NEVER mention Biden's BRAIN SURGERY - a major concern for someone in the White House, even the VP - but they keep mentioning McCain's skin cancer. Don't you think a brain problem that could recur - and cause erratic behavior - is worse than a skin problem? Geez. Whatevery happened to the watchdog press????

I belive that every candidate will do thier best to serve the country, but some actions will benefit specific citizens. It's up to the voters to decide if Biden is really the best person for the job. http://www.goodinternetdeals.com/Preside...

I don't understand that either. I have mentioned it a couple of times. They are concerned McCains skin cancer might cause his death. My Dad had skin cancer 40 years ago, he is now 84, it is not fatal. Biden had 2 brain aneurysm's. My husband had one. The side effect is short term memory loss and occasional confusion. A brain aneurysm and it's side effects are way more concern than skin cancer. Biden gets a pass on the media. The media and Obama supporters don't care about anything except getting Obama elected. Sad that the welfare of our country doesn't matter to them.

Aneurysms which are caught before rupture and successfully clipped do not come back. In a case like Biden's, there are no long-term effects (they are only in cases where an aneurysm ruptures and causes a brain hemorrhage). A simple angiogram can identify any potential problems long before they become an issue, and I'm sure Biden has had a few since his operation.
On the other hand, McCain has has melanoma, TWICE. Melanoma is the deadliest form of skin cancer, and it's almost impossible to get rid of because of how it infiltrates the layers of skin and the underlying tissues. Even having follow-up CT and MRI scans can miss small, microscopic lesions that can spread and grow.
Mayo Clinic has great explanations of both conditions. mayoclinic.org

A definitely erratic president is worse than a possibly erratic vice president

You'd have to be crazy to vote to let McCain's shakey finger near the nuke button.

As for the watchdog press, republicans got them all fired them already, and now they work the blogosphere.

That is a very good question but it makes no difference.

Skin cancer, if caught in time, is a treatable cancer. I am sure McCain, when elected, will have the best doctors in the world making sure he has the best medical care available.

My dad had a brain aneurysm, had surgery, never had a problem again. (You get headaches, not erratic)

McCain has had skin cancer, recurring at least 4 times I believe? And it's the most fatal type.

EDIT: Butterfly - As for McCain's Cancer (melanoma, the most DEADLY form), here http://www.newsweek.com/id/113705, here http://www.medicinenet.com/script/main/a... here http://www.huffingtonpost.com/leighton-w... and here http://www.webmd.com/melanoma-skin-cance...

As for your husband, I suggest seeking another doctor, as confusion is NOT a side effect from an aneurysm...a RUPTURED one rarely, but not a side effect. And a ruptured aneurysm, as you know, is an emergency, which also rules out all people we are talking about here. It could be his meds interfering if he is taking any. If not, he really should be checked out.

The motto of modern American politics is that 'cancer beats brains'...

If you want me to make it as unsubtle as possible for you...

No brains leads to national cancer.

because McCain's father dies of cancer around the same age and Biden hasn't had any problems since the last incident...McCain is still in and out of the hospital

Yeah my grandma had a brain aneurism and she died after surgery. Not such an easy thing to do you now brain surgery or laser surgery.

Biden isn't running for President. If McCain wins and dies we are stuck with Palin and then we are all screwed.
