Skin Cancer??!?!?!?!? I need to know people!! I don't want skin cancer?

Can you really get skin cancer by drawing on yourself?? me and my friend are drawing puzzle pieces on are legs nd arms its pretty cool!!

I really don't think so.

If you don't get skin cancer from tattoos which has permanent ink dying multiple layers of skin, I highly doubt that ink from a pen that washes off and only goes on the top layer of skin will. Even if you use markers to write on your skin, you probably won't get skin cancer from it. They would have to put a warning on the boxes then, because kids get them all over themselves accidentally.

Keep in mind that the skin is your body's largest organ. Think before you apply anything to it. That includes tattoos and markers. It also includes sunscreens, hand and body lotions, shampoos and fragrances. They typically include carcinogens like parabens and sodium laureth sufate. All of these enter the body through the skin.

Will your shampoo and hand lotion give you cancer? Probably not by themselves...but we are surrounded by so many chemicals that it's for our own good to make healthy choices when we can.

No, I never heard of that. Most skin cancer is caused by sun damage, or a genetic tendency that runs in families. My mom always warned me about ink poisoning...but I don't know if that is possible either. You may want to wash off as much ink as you can when you are done, because I think the skin can absorb a certain amount of it.

no

Skin cancer is caused by the damaging of the skin (an organ), especially from the sun. Everytime you get a tan, your skin will get slightly damaged. When you burn, your skin is very damaged. The continuous of burning and tanning will lead to dark, leathery skin which will become unhealthy in every way.

If you were born light skin, I suggest staying light skin.

Get ink poisoning and die stupid scum bag *****.
