Skin cancer.. help please?

Ok basically what causes skin cancer? i asked a question a few minutes ago asking if i have a possibilty of having skin cancer and whilst writing it i got really scared so went to my auntie who lives next door and used to be a doctor and she said that it looks like skin cancer!!

Ugh shes gone to do her weekly shopping just now and i cant wait.. i need to ask these questions

1) Is it true that skin cancer is easy to get rid of? Well easier than other cancers?
2) What do they do to get rid of skin cancer?.. Treatment?
3) Will i be ok?
4) What will the doctor do when i go there about the mole thingy?

Hi..

Basically the cancer of skin is supposed that spots appear in the skin,
generally the spots are very black and with te time grow...

If you have a black or dark brown spots in your body is very important that you go to de doctor rigth now, because can progress to other parts of your body...

Good luck 隆隆隆隆

Wait until you talk to your auntie.. If you have a family doctor, it's best to go to them or go to the medi clinic and get a practicing doctor to check you out. It's fine to have your aunt look at your mole, but she's not a practicing doctor so going beyond just looking at it... won't really help you.

Go see a doctor, they have access to all the tests etc. that will need to be performed.

Well, skin cancer can be deadly, but it can also just be treated by having the mole removed. My mom had had several cancers removed from her skin. Just go to the doctor and have them do what they need to do, and I'm sure you'll be alright.
It's good that you brought it up now, though, instead of assuming it's okay.

ive wrote on one of your other question things and it's fine trust me. go to the doctors. And it will be fine if its cancer you'll need an op but its not serious. You might of got this mole from the sun. Or just been born with it , like me , i've been through skin cancer so ask me anything!
Best wishes x

skin cancer can happen when you are in the sun to long and your over heat if you get sun burn all the time be prepared for skin cancer

Maybe its the chemicals found in sunscreens

google it :L

what causes skin cancer?
radiation

staying in the sun too much, without sun screen
tanning beds..

Firstly u need to calm down! Your aunty shouldnt have said that unless she is a doctor!!!
Moles can change healthily, it is normal for moles to change slightly as we get older and our bodies change. Im not sure about the treatment but I would assume chemo would be involved if it the cancer gets into the bloodstream. My friend developed cancer, and she never sunbathes or uses sunbeds, so it can happen to any1. She had to have a deep root removal of the mole because the mole's root were so deep they didnt want to risk the roots spreading. The doctor will check your mole and see if it is cancerous. U can get mapping done for your moles, what happens is; every mole is counted and checked and they tell you to check them regularly for changes. I check my moles regular, and like u thought one of them was changing. When I got checked out, it was fine.

1. skin cancer is easy to get rid of in early stages.
2. to get rid of skin cancer they will sometimes use laser treatment.
3. I'm sure you'll be fine, what do the spots look like on your skin? are they a perfect circle or misshapen? is it brown or black with other colors? how big is the spot? see if the spot grows any bigger. if any of these signs are shown, you must go to the dermatologist.
4. the procedure is very simple and doesn't hurt at all! =] first they give you a small shot to numb the area(feels like a bee sting) then, after the area is numb enough, the mole rises off the skin and they use a tiny razor to shave it off. after they put on some cream where the mole was removed and put a band-aid on and your done! they tell you to put vaseline on it for a few days and change the band-aid regularly. it will take a few months for the scar to completely go away.
good luck!
