Does permanent markers/ pens seriously give you skin cancer? |
Call me immature, but i love drawing on myself!! :) hahaa sounds a little weird but I like making fake tattoos and stuff... and I was just wondering if drawing on yourself can lead to cancer or any type of illness???? thanks guys so much :)) Too much toxic marker ink can be absorbed into your skin (it only takes 20 seconds for anything on your skin to be absorbed into your system) and can cause ink poisoning in your bloodstream. Not a chance I would want to take, I am dealing with enough health issues as it is then to do something deliberately. The markers you asked about were used to mark the positions on my skin so the radiation machine could be lined up each time I went for a therapy treatment. The alternative was getting a tattoo. There is no proof of cancer,but what goes on your skin is absorbed in your skin and into the blood stream. |
