Skin Cancer? |
Ok, I've had a raised red bump on my arm for years now, as long as I can remember. I didn't think anything of it because I seemed to have the same thing, just a bit smaller, on my knee too. I ran over that one with my razor two years ago and from the amount of blood that poured out, assumed it was a blood vessel and left it at that. But this one is quite a bit larger, and almost looks like a large pimple on the inside (the bump in lined in dark red, but the middle is pink. but it is perfectly round). Now I am starting to get concerned. It doesn't hurt really. There's kind of a dull ache when I press on it. I'm not a person who gets a lot of sun, so I'm really not sure what to think. I know I need to go in, I just want to hear opinions so I can either calm down, or get help faster. Thanks! its a hemangioma , a blood vessel tumor dont worry unless it is growing too fast maybe so............................... Skin cancer is usualy dark in color and not a perfect circle, it is asymetric. Skin cancers are often divided into 2 groups 鈥?melanomas and non-melanomas The "ABCD rule" of melanomas is an easy guide to the usual signs of melanoma. A is for ASYMMETRY: One half of a mole or birthmark does not match the other. B is for BORDER: The edges are irregular, ragged, notched, or blurred. C is for COLOR The color is not the same all over and may include shades of brown or black, sometimes with patches of red, white, or blue. D is for DIAMETER: The spot is larger than 6 millimeters across (about 录 inch ,the size of a pencil eraser) or is growing larger. Any change in shape, color, size should be a signal alarm. I suggest you see a doctor . I wish you luck ! |
