Worried about skin cancer?


I have two moles that have recently become bumpy and grown. I know I need to see a doctor but what kind of doctor? My family doctor, a dermatologist, an oncologist? Anybody know?

dermatologist. they specialize in those sorts of things. they will look at it and if they think its necessary, they'll do a biopsy....

Call your family doc first and see if they can check on it and do a biopsy if necessary.
If they can't, seek their referral for a dermatologist.
It may take some time to get into a new derm doc, and your family doc should answer your question rapidly, and might be able to see you sooner than the new derm.
