Can you get skin cancer for going to the tanning bed one time?


all i heard was that you can get skin cancer if you go but you are burned from the last time and that if you go alot. but my butt hole of a x-bff said you can get skin cancer from going to the tanning bed one time. is it true?

Umm...well, not really. Technically you increase your risk of getting skin cancer by 20% if you get more than 5 sunburns in a lifetime. Everytime you get burnt after that, the risk increases. It really has to do with prolonged exposure to light, not just one incident. But going to a tanning bed is 5 times worse for you than just going out into the sun, so do not do it.
Yes, he certainly is a b***h***! So that'sa good thing that he's your X! dont think that one short visit would kill ya, if ya just wanted to see what it's like.
But I dont think that they're good for you at all.
Go natural sun, and get some vitimin D. But please dont bake yourself!
