Is there a type of skin cancer that will not alow you to go into the sun?

I just need to know what it's called. I can't find it on the internet. I'm asking the people who know, not the people who don't

Well, any skin cancer diagnosis at all is a reason to not damage your skin further by continued sun exposure.

There are three major types of skin cancer:

Basal Cell Carcinoma: the most common. This will happen to most people eventually because of long term sun exposure over the years. It's also the easiest to treat and the least dangerous.

Squamous Cell Carcinoma: this is less common, but still occurs frequently in people who have chronic sun exposure. It is more dangerous than BCC, and it can spread to organs or other areas of the body if not treated promptly.

Malignant Melanoma: is - as it's name implies - deadly. Usually starts as a flat, dark spot on the skin that grows or spreads out and might even have other colors inside it, like blue, red, or white. Sometimes these lesions are nodular instead of flat...but regular pink or beige moles that stick out from the skin aren't the normally the kinds of moles that turn into melanoma.

If you have had a couple of severe burns in your life, you are at higher risk for melanoma. You don't necessarily get melanoma where you had the sunburn, either. The deep burn messes with the DNA of new skin cells, so you can even develop a melanoma "where the sun don't shine".

There are lots of other nuggets of info I could share about skin cancer, but I think you just wanted a quick answer - but I can't end this without saying: protect your skin with sun block when you HAVE to be outside, and stay out of the sun when you can. Use a bottled tan!!
No. You should use sunscreen when you are in the sun and if you are ever diagnosed, I guarantee you will start if you never used it before.
