How do I know it is skin cancer aside from going to the doctor,is there any home self test or something? |
please im desperate and is that i went to the pool for 1 hour and it was cloudy so i didbt put sunblock on so please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!T... And could u tell me the simptoms of skin cancer to? there's no test you can do at home... just follow the ABCD's and it will be pretty accurate. Any moles that have the following features can be considered a warning sign of skin cancer. Asymmetry - one half of the mole looks different from the other half Border - The mole has an uneven or blurry edge Color - variations in color inside the mole Diameter - a problem if its bigger than a pencil eraser Only a medical professional can accurately diagnose skin cancer. Skin cancer is not a joke you jerk. One hour in the sun without sunblock won't give you cancer. Just be careful in the future... Even if there would be any "home self tests", which i don't know about... Skincancer is a serious thing and i wouldn't trust any other than a doctors opinion... Sorry!!! marks on the skin that change shape, colour or texture or bleed should be checked out. Its no big deal. I cant see what the swimming has to do with it. You cant CATCH skin cancer. I am sure you are fine! Do you have a skin lesion that will not heal? or a mole that has changed color and shape? These are just some of the symptoms of skin cancer. going to the pool on a cloudy day and forgetting sunscreen once will not give you cancer! Skin cancer happens after many repeated years of sun exposure! Farmers, sun bathers, construction workers etc. can get it. People who are in the sun all the time without protection! |
