Does Writing on your hands cause skin cancer?

Whenever I write on my hands my friends yell at me and say i'm giving my self skin cancer, is this true?

#1~ I'm a nurse and I dont see medically how it can cause skin cancer.Any cancer is a product of abnormal cell tissue growth. So therefore I dont see how writing on your hand can generate skin cancer.

#2~As a nurse , there are times that something is happening that I need to jot down and have no paper with me.So I write it down on the palm of my hand til I can get back to a piece of paper.I wash my hands literally hundreds of times in any given shift that I work.So I write whatever I wrote in my hand @ that moment asap before I lose the info I wrote.

#3~ I think that the writing on your palm MAY be a myth like hickies cause cancer or the dredded " If you keep making that stupid face , it's gonna freeze like that" myth...lol
No, maybe ink poisoning, but no skin cancer.
not true.
I am not sure what the ingredients of ink are but I wouldn't do it more than i had to if I were you.
