Can anyone tell me how bad is the skin cancer and if it is curable?

I have had an small blister in my lower lip, and after more than 2 years i decided to go to the doctor. The doctor told me that it is a very accute herpes, he gave me some pilss and put me in treatment for 2 weeks. He also told me that if after that treatment the small blister was not gone, he will have to do a bioxy to check for skin cancer tissue.
Also told me not to get nervous, he gave me confidence. that is the reason why i'm asking what could happen if it is and if there is a cure.

Yes, I had malignant melanoma when I was 24 and I have been cancer free ever since. In some cases, the cancer can just be cut out, as in my case, if it is caught early enough. Other times you may need radiation or chemotherapy. Good luck and God bless! Have hope, it is not necessarily fatal.
As long as it is caught on at a very early stage, it can easily be cured. :)
Your doctor is right. Don't worry. It's very rare to die of cutaneous skin cancer. If he finds cancer on your lip, it's easy to cure it by cutting it out.

Don't confuse this with melanoma skin cancer... DrP
You have excellent chance of getting rid of your cancer. Its been caught at a very early stage, so you've got nothing to worry about. I come across a lot of people like yourself at work, and the success rate is 99%.
