Neighbour has cancer has red marks under her skin on her arms?

what are these marks?

MY HUSBAND HAS CANCER AND IS BEING TREATED W/ CHEMO.

HE HAS THE SAME TYPES OF MARKS AND WE FOUND OUT IT'S DUE TO HIS PLATELET COUNT BEING LOW AS A SIDE AFFECT OF THE CHEMO.

SHE SHOULD SHOW THE MARKS TO HER ONCOLOGIST AND THEY SHOULD BE DOING BLOOD WORK ON HER REGULARY TO CHECK FOR THESE PROBLEMS.

WISH HER LOVE AND LUCK FROM US. AND REMIND HER SHE IS NOT DYING OF CANCER BUT LIVING WITH IT. THATS THE BEST ATTITUDE TO HAVE.
You don't say what cancer she has... if it is breast, she may have radiation burn's...
me
Am undergoing ABVD chemo. Any little bump, bug bite, scrape, etc. turns into red marks for me that don't fade. Like above poster, due to decreased platelet count, making bruising occur a lot easier because the blood can't clot after injury as well. Also caused by other decreased blood cell counts, as healing cells can't be carried to that part of the body as easily.
