Shift work sleep disorder? |
my doc diagnosed me with shift work sleep disorder. i work constantly rotating shifts and my body never gets used to it, i can't always sleep when i need to and i can never stay awake even when i've had plenty of sleep. every time i sit down i doze off. my doc prescribed provigil but it's too expensive even with my insurance, prescription assistance programs don't cover it because it's non formulary, and i really don't care all that much for how it makes me feel. please help! i just want to be able to be a good mom and not fall asleep all the time when my lil guy just wants to play cars. i take a super b complex and an energizing multivitamin daily Melatonin, which is sold in vitamin supplements should be your answer. It is recommended for traveling in different time zones to regulate your sleep. We've used it for years for sleep disturbances and it works like magic. Just allow 7 to 8 hours of sleep after taking. It's a natural substance produced by your brain, so it's safe and non addictive. Start with the lowest dose and add if needed until you reach the level you need. You know if you took to much because you will have very vivid dreams. Just cut back if that happens. I think this will take of your problem quickly and you'll feel normal again in no time. Best of luck! |
