Could I have a sleep disorder? |
Last week when in bed with my girlfriend, she mentioned that a few times I've been awake while sleeping a few hours into sleep. No, this is normal. I have just been reading some things about sleeping disorders. The particular disorder that you are talking about is called Sleep talking/walking disorder. This type of disorder can be caused if you have been under stress lately. You should not be concerned about it since every child/adult does that. You should be concerned if the episodes return frequently and if you start sleep walking. This can be very dangerous. But it doesn't seem too concerning with you, it is probably stress related. its most probably just stress,do you remember it the next morning? if you dont then it is definitely stress and pressure, if you do remember it the next morning then it is probably just something that you wana get off your chest. just if there is stuff that she doesn't know about which you don't want her to know... otherwise, it is just called talking in your sleep, sometimes embarrassing but it happens I don't think your actually "awake" but it's a form of "sleep walking." Normal with anyone. Nothing to be worried about. lol dont worry i do the same my fiancee finds it very funny to have a conversation with me while am asleep lol xx Don't worry i know 2 people who do that. One of them started talking about shoes. |
