I Think I Have A Sleep Disorder?


I go to sleep early in the morning. I'm probably not going to sleep until 3 or 4. Then I have to wake up at 6:30 for school. I am extremely exuasted in school. Then i go to sleep around 4 oclock after school and wake up at around 7. I can't go to sleep at regular times because I eventually fall back into my old habits. Whats wrong with me?

You dont have a sleep disorder- you have a very disorganised sleeping pattern. You should get on a regular schedule and you will be fine.

when you get home from school stay awake until 11 or 12 at night then go to sleep and wake up around 630 and you should be fine.

When I was in highschool a few years ago I was exactly the same way... during college I scheduled all my classes for after 12 pm and that was still cutting it close by waking up... I am now working full time and struggle every morning to wake up and my boss has labeled me "moody in the morning"

Some people are just naturally night people... I'm one, I think you are too.. That is what I used to do in highschool... take naps after school and stay up late finishing up homework and chatting with friends online.....

I dont know what to say to you... I have to be awake in 4 and a half hours and cant fall asleep... lately my sleeping pattern has been great but tonight i just cant fall asleep...

You are just a night owl like most of us are! Try to get back in your normal habits again it is hard but if i can do it anyone can! Dont sleep when you get out of school stay up as long as you can and just go to bed then and if you wake up go back to bed and keep your self there!
