How do you get out of a sleeping disorder? |
How do you get out of a sleeping disorder? the best thing to do is to try to figure out what is interrupting your sleeping cycle. do you eat right? are you depressed? do you drink or do drugs? is there allot of stress in your life now? I would suggest talking to your family doctor or maybe a professional psychologist as it might be something serious. as stated in other answers you can try to do meditation type techniques before you go to sleep. If meditation/relaxation techs don't help talk to a professional. Hi Austin. The surest way to find out if you have a sleeping disorder is to have a sleep study. I've had one. It's kinda weird but I found out why I was having so many problems. The study showed I was awakened 76-78 times an HOUR!!! No wonder, I felt like the walking dead. In fact, it's a wonder I didn't die. Many people have died from what I have which is sleep apnea. Basically, you stop breathing or your airway becomes so constricted that your oxygen levels drop dangerously low. So, long story short; a physician would best be able to order the test or perhaps prescribe something that would help. Kind of hard to say without more info. Best of luck. Hopefully, you will have sweet dreams. Just take the following as a drug of choice without addiction. Do you stay up late? or do you wake up alot in the middle of the night? Is an issue going on in your family? Try to find out whats wrong. If you stay up late, dont take naps and get up earlier than you usually do. that way you will be tired, but your body will be back to normal! Try taking melatonin supplements at night. You can get them at CVS, they will definitely knock you out, and it's safe too. ohhh bummer!! my mom has rls... i would say just take some type of medicine... talk to your doc.! what? |
