Teen: i think i have a panic disorder?!? scared 24/7 can't sleep for 3 days straight.? |
i feel like im having a flippin mental breakdown. my head hurts im scared all day long im scared all night long i can't sleep. i feel llike im just going to faint. the clinic was closed today i couldnt go to the doctor. it's allmost 9 i have school in the morning.. and i wont be able to sleep. should i go to the hospital or something? my head feels like its going to blow up I AM SO SCARED. when you can not see what is happening, do not stare harder relax and look gently with your inner eye if you do not understand what i am saying, do not grasp for every word give up your efforts become silent inside and listen with your deepest self when you are puzzled by what you see or hear, do not strive to figure things out ~~~stand back for a moment and become calm~~~ when you are calm, complex events will appear simple to know what is happening, push less, open out and be aware see without staring listen quietly rather than listening hard use intuition and reflection rather than trying to figure things out the more you let go of trying, and the more open and receptive you become, the more easily you will know what is happening ~~~stay in the present~~~ the present is more available than either memories of the past or fantasies of the future so ~ attend to what is happening now go 2 the doctor quick!!! good luc hun <3 Tell your parents all that you have said here and yes make sure they take you to a doctor. Good luck. LPN talk to me dogmicjoe@yahoo.com. also try www.holisticonline.com. they have stress management tips.try just seeing a therapist ok? Take it from someone who has suffered from anxiety/panic/depression since he was 7, see your MD asap or seek out a qualified Psych/Therapist. This can be successfully treated and it's much easier if you start sooner than later. I waited, you don't want to end up like me. Let me know how you do! Sounds like me a few years ago. You have a chemical imbalance in the way your brain functions. You are not crazy and you will not do anything that you are scared and thinking about. That is the reason you are scared, because you know that what is going thru your mind is wrong. You have generalized anxiety disorder and panic attacks are a part of that. If you get on the right anti-depressant and trust your doctor you will be well in about 6 weeks on the right meds. It took trying 2 meds before I got well. And I mean REALLY WELL....I don't just function, I run my own business and haven't had an anxiety spell and fear for over 4 years. |
