Do I have a sleeping disorder?

Every now and then I wake up with bruises on my arms and legs and feel soreness in my arms that couldn't have been attributed to any activity I was doing the night before. Is this a sleeping disorder?

I was drawn to this question because I have, and always have had serious sleep problems. Severe insomnia and sleep apnea. But bruises and soreness? Someone said sleep walking- maybe you are getting up and doing things during your sleep that you don't remember.

Can I ask- do you ever lose time, like during the day? Just wondering about something else, sometimes connected....
not enough sex
you might be sleep walking which is a disorder !!!!
Possibly. You could just be sleep walking (which usually isn't considered a disorder) or you might be sleeping in strange positions, which block blood flow during the night, causing the soreness and the bruises.
maybe you've got some sort of disease...like something related to the blood...maybe its like you lack oxygen when you sleep and this then results to blood clots or sutff like that like making you look like you've got bruises...

or maybe you just hit your elbow on the wall when you sleep..

i often wake up with bruises too...that was when i slept next to my younger brother..he likes to kick a lot when sleeping..

your should wear elbow/knee pads
just made it up!
Sounds like someone is beating the hell out of you...And you can't remember or wake up or what??If nothing else,I would fine out what is going on with you!! Maybe you are doing this to yourself and not knowing...I would make an appointment to see your doctor and tell him or her whats going on...I would think A.S.A.P.
