Does anyone know of a good motivational book to help to stop smoking? |
Currently trying to reduce my smoking habits, a friend told me of a good book that helps the motivational issues take can take hold of someone and aid re-lapse throughout the journey. well im reading the allan carr book at the moment,but havnt had a great desire to give up yet, apart from the desire thats always there. im about 3/4's through it so im hoping its going to hit me soon as i have tried every method under the sun and always gone back smoking in the end.sob sob hopefully 2008 will be our year of sucess.good luck allan carr's easy way to stop smoking helped me no end. i quit with just that and willpower(no i don't want a medal) i now live a healthier wealthier life. good luck. If you don't have the complete motivation within yourself then you will fail. Complete dedication and self motivation are the biggest keys to defeating addiction. allan carr "how to stop smoking" tried and tested you smoke as you read and it makes you aware and then you get to the chapter to give up you cant wait to give up I can do better than a book... just buy a reallly big thick book and when you want a smoke ask someone to pick it up and smack your head with it.....motivation id say! lol The bible |
