okay what should i do....

5 a week? What are you so worried about? You act lke a 2 pack a day smoker. If you want to quit, 5 a week should be easy. Now for your mother. Why do you care how she judges you? Here's a little tip. You're not going to please everyone. The only one you need to please is yourself. If you're happy with yourself, then who cares what mom and dad think? You say you're 21, it's time to act like it.

It seems easy enough....quit smoking. If you are only smoking one or so a day it should be easy enough.

Maybe your smoking more b/c your more stressed now, or it could be more of a physical habit.....

As long as your not breast feeding, I would suggest Chantix. Works like a charm :)

Tell your mom to mind her own business. You're 21, old enough to smoke anywhere.

5 cigarettes per week is really not a large problem, considering that's the equivalent of about one pack per month. Unless you increase that number dramatically, I wouldn't worry about it in the least.

First calm down you just had a baby and your 21! Life can be stressful I say continue to try to quit but if you need an occasional cigarette that's fine don't beat yourself up over it. We each deal with stress in our own way just and you did quit the entire time you were pregnant. Just make sure your not smoking in front or near the baby. Your 21 your mom has to realize your old enough to make your own decisions. Good luck and remember a key to a healthily lifestyle is moderation!

It sounds like you're just really stressed out, which is understandable considering you've just had a baby. You were responsible and did the best you could to protect your child's health. One cigarette a day won't cause too much trouble, but if you really want to quit (and it's a good idea, so that you don't end up wanting to smoke even more) then you should try to give up now. Throw out all your cigarettes, vow not to buy any more, and tell your friends to help you as best they can (not smoke in front of you, etc.). There are some non-drug stop smoking aids too - everything from hypnosis and acupuncture to laser therapy. Speak to your doctor if you need advice.

I do agree that you should stop worrying what others think of you - you're an adult, and you have a right to make your own decisions :)
