24week preg and have gained 9lbs-- Feel horrible about it-Gained 30pre preg quit smoking?

Gaining weight is a necessity!!!!

You need to be the healthiest you can before and after your baby arrives. I gained 50 pounds for my son and he was 7lbs 6ozs at birth. I had to learn how to eat and keep a diary of my eating. (not anorexic just horrible eating habits since birth and never had cravings.)

After you have your baby, you will need to keep eating health, especially if you decide to breastfeed. It is ESSENTIAL for producing the best milk for your baby.

Breastfeeding can help with some weight loss after your baby is born, but weight loss should be the last thing on your mind with a little one on the way. Trust me, you'll start loosing weight when you have a crawler or toddler that gets into everything and you have to jump around chasing your little button!!!!

Please, think of your health and not your weight. It's the best thing for both of you!!!!

Congrats on both your pregnancy and your quitting smoking!!!!

Healthy happy me

Hope the same for you!!!!

Its GOOD to gain weight when your pregnant. Its NOT if you dont. Dont worry about it......too much. Watch, you will become one of those fit moms that everyone loves. And good job quiting smoking. It must be hard but its for the best. Dont worry.

i dont mind gaining 200 pounds if i get pregnant. its the most beautiful thing that would ever happen to a woman. be proud and feel beautiful because you are

throughout my pregnancy i gained a total of 60 lbs scary huh? but everyone gains different amts and everyone is different. dont worry about how much u gain, as long as the baby is healthy u r fine.

honey! its normal to gain weight when preg. its unhealty NOT to gain any weight. congrats on losing the weight before, just rembember to keep your diet in check and it won't be as hard to lose it post-pregnanacy.

When the baby comes out, it can weigh like 10 pounds. like 6-9 is a good estimate. And also, some of the weight is in your boobs, and some is just liquid that will go away. And i think that your blood gets heavier or something. But I know that after you have the baby, you weigh less than you did during pregnancy.
