Is it good to smoke after you have a baby? |
Is it good to smoke after you have a baby? Not as long as ur nursing the child. Once u've stopped nursing, u can smoke away...altho I know others have said that smoking is not good...u'll smoke if u want to...its up to you, just dont do it around the baby and if ur nursing.. ok i'm going to spill here. i'm a 17 year old guy and my mom has smoked like since she was 15 and it sucks. Ok one of my brothers has asthmu from it and I hate the fact that I can smell the difference between nicitine. she coughs and it sounds like her lungs are coming up and I feel bad cause I no why but I can't do anything and I no that she won't quit. People think that they arn't hurting others from smoking and the people that you care about the most are the ones your hurting cause they have to watch you slowly kill yourself. I wish all the time she never did i'm in soccer and I no when I get winded fast that it's from that cause I have trouble breathing sometimes and I don't have asthmu. so do every one you care about and DON'T SMOKE No, not only is it detrimental to your lungs but now you are exposing your infant to second hand smoke which has been proven to cause asthma and other lung related disorders in children. Don't do it. Chew gum, try lollipops, even eat a decadent dessert but please don't take up smoking!! it is NEVER good to smoke, the lungs were not designed to tolerate the inhalation of the poisons present in cigarettes or in marijuana or in any foreign substance. Do yourself and your baby a favor and don't even consider smoking. I agree, it's never good to smoke. If you smoke after you have your baby, you can increase their risk of second hand smoke and cancer! You want to kill your baby? Even if you don't smoke in the same room with your baby the smoke still gets in your clothes. So your baby is still effected everytime you hold him/her after smoking. Do yourself & your baby a favor & quit! Smoking is NEVER good, especially around a child. no one can tell you what to do. just don't do it around the baby. go outside. i do. i know how hard it is to quite. HELL NAW! your not supposed to be smoking period around the baby anyway i pray you weren't smoking while she was in you that's crazy basically your JUST QUIT! It isn't good to smoke at all. But if you are trying to keep the smoke away from your baby it is okay as long as you aren't breastfeeding. It's never good to smoke. Just... do everyone a favor and DO NOT smoke around the baby. ew no. especcialy not around a baby. Don't smoke it would be bad for you and the baby. Ever heard of secondhand smoke? Why on earth would smoking anytime be good? Yikes! It's not good to smoke at any time! When is smoking ever good??? as long as you dont smoke near your baby* |

NO!! ...No ... and unless they run a specific test for it, it doesn't show up. If you are a minor, and if they notice the smell, expect them to have a chat iwth you and your parents ... same as wit... how do you have your computer with you??? Anyways, if you're actually somehow telling the truth, don't wait a minute. If you have a feeling that there's a fire, call right now!!!!!!<... its the bodys way of reacting to the stress. since u wont have ur fix of nicotine, it takes it from the food u eat, subconsciously sometimes u will increase the proportion sizes, snack when u arent... maybe that's just the voice they were born with and do you even know these people you are talking about? if you don't then how do you know that they don't smoke? don't make a... While they will stunt your general growth, in general, no, smoking and drinking will not target and isolate the growth of your chest. Will it make a difference... sure, but not in the grand scheme ... I've never been a smoker myself...but friends of mine who have...found that, a good reason to stop smoking is... it destroys your health. I would talk with your doc. & see what she/he sug... |
